Welcome to our series of ‘people profiles’, highlighting the wonderful team at Waterloo Quay dedicated to ensuring our clients receive the best experience. Next up it's Gemma Jardine!
What is your role, what does it include, and how long have you worked for WQ?
I have been working with Waterloo Quay Properties as a receptionist at Voyager House for 13.5 years now. My role includes meeting and greeting visitors for multiple companies within Voyager, controlling the multi-story car park and various administrative duties to support our FM team.
Describe your ideal working environment.
My ideal working environment would be clean, tidy and well organised with a friendly, professional team.
What are you proudest of accomplishing?
My proudest accomplishment would be learning to drive. I was petrified and didn’t learn to drive until I was 34, but had to bite the bullet when I became my dad's carer, but luckily passed the first time.
If you didn’t work for WQ, what would you be doing?
If I didn’t work for Waterloo Quay I’d like to have my own craft business. I enjoy crafting in my spare time, making items for friends and family.
