No Goodbyes, But See You Soon

Today and on Tuesday, we are saying goodbye to two of our own: our RGU media placement, Valerie, and our Community Manager, Anne-Kathrine.

Valerie’s been so kind as to look after our social media platforms these past 12 weeks. We’re sure you’ve seen her photography and are just as amazed as we are! Today’s her last day and on Monday, she’s back at RGU, finishing her degree in media.

''Today’s my last day of placement at Waterloo Quay!

Working alongside with empowering women over the last 12 weeks have been nothing but wonderful and I am forever grateful that they chose me as their social media manager. A special shout out to my supervisor who provided support whenever I needed it.

It was also lovely to meet some of the tenants here at WQ, and network with them.

Thank you for making me feel part of the team and giving me the opportunity to learn and improve on my professional skills. Looking forward to what the future brings next, now onto working on finishing that report…'' - Valerie

Anne-Kathrine’s moving back to Denmark after two years at WQ and almost eight years in the UK. She’s been looking after our WQ community whilst here, making sure that you’re all happy and getting the support you’re needing. Tuesday’s her last day so make sure to drop by to say goodbye.

Everyone keeps asking me if I'm excited to head back to Denmark,
and even though I am incredibly excited for this new chapter and being closer
to family and friends, I'm slightly dreading Tuesday.

I feel very fortunate having met and worked with the wonderful team at WQ.
Thank you for all the opportunities, laughs and bacon butties! See you all in Denmark.
I'll get hold of those bunk beds asap.'' - Anne-Kathrine

Thank you to you both for your hard work and dedication! It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you and we are still slightly in denial about you leaving. From the entire team at WQ, we wish you all the best in whatever comes next.
